Welcome to Companion Pet Services LLC! I’m Lauren, the proud owner and heart behind our husband-and-wife team. Since 2008, I’ve dedicated my life to providing exceptional care for pets throughout our local communities. Whether it’s senior pets, special needs companions, or energetic puppies learning to navigate the world, we tailor our services to meet each pet’s unique needs.
Before starting Companion Pet Services LLC, I gained valuable experience working at an animal hospital, where I progressed from intern to kennel tech and eventually to vet assistant. I’ve also worked in pet stores, directly handling and caring for animals, which gave me a deep understanding of different species and their needs. These experiences shaped my approach to pet care, blending professional expertise with genuine compassion.
My husband, Dan, helps out part-time, adding a personal and family-oriented feel to what we do. Together, we’re fully insured and certified in pet CPR and first aid, ensuring your furry family members are always in safe hands. We also provide personalized services, such as pet taxi assistance and even acting as a pet wedding attendant! At Companion Pet Services LLC, your pet’s happiness and well-being are always our top priorities.
Our Story
A Journey Rooted in Love and Dedication
The story of Companion Pet Services LLC started with a deep love for animals and a dream to make a difference in our community. For nearly a decade, I worked in pet care, helping families care for their furry (and not so furry) companions. During that time, I realized I wanted to create something of my own—a business that truly reflected my values: trust, loyalty, open communication, and a genuine love for animals.
Five years ago, life threw me an unexpected curveball. A car accident led to back surgery, and with clients relying on me, Dan stepped in to help. What started as a temporary solution turned into something much more—he’s been by my side ever since, and together, we’ve built a business we’re proud of. The challenges we’ve faced have only strengthened our commitment to the pets and families we care for.
One of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been the relationships we’ve built. I’ll always remember a sweet Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mix who felt like part of my own family. Her owners trusted me so much that they’d call on me just to keep her company for the day. Even though they’ve since moved away, we still stay in touch—a testament to the bonds that go far beyond pet care.
